The Prairie Rose Hospice and Palliative Care Society Tree of Hope Campaign starts November 13th and runs until December 12th.  various locations in Brooks will be selling bulbs. The Tree of Hope will be lit up at the Brooks Health Centre, money goes to a hospice for terminally ill patients.

Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign for Brooks is in need of volunteers, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays starting November 23rd and going to December 22nd.  They will be located at Canadian Tire, WalMart, Freson Brothers and No Frills.  If you can help out, call Michelle at 403-952-8784.  All money raised stays local.

The Brooks Toy Library Christams Craft Sale is Saturday, November 18th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Brooks Legion, there's something for everyone.

Brooks Has Talent Showcase is back on November 18th at the Heritage Inn.  If you want to be part of this, call Gurpeet at 403-362-0404.  Tickets are $10.00 and available at Brooks & County Immigration Servies.  There will be talent, games, door prizes and food.

The Brooks Bandits are on the road for two games this weekend, playing in Canmore Friday and Saturday night.  Catch all the action on Real Country 105.7 with Tyler King.

Brooks United Church Monthly Thrift Sale is on Thursday, December 14th, from 8:00 am to 12 noon in the lower hall of the church. It's your chance to get those last minute Christmas gifts.

The Brooks Kinettes are looking after Coats for Kids and Adults again this winter.  Please drop off clean warm winter wear for kids and adults at the ATB, TD Bank, Brooks Bearing or Brooks & County Immigration Services.  They are looking for coats, mittens, gloves and boots.
